I write a variety of novels, from horror to thrillers to stories that explore what happens when the world falls apart. I also enjoy creating mysteries filled with suspense, where ordinary lives are turned upside down and nothing is quite what it seems.

Mark West is an Australian author who writes horror, thriller, survival and mystery stories.
Mark has always enjoyed a good story and loves creating characters and situations that keep readers turning the page. His novels range from survival stories where the world begins to fall apart, to mysteries and thrillers filled with suspense, unexpected twists and moments that leave you wanting to know what happens next.
Outside of writing, Mark is a husband and father who enjoys spending time with his family, surfing, getting outdoors and pursuing his many interests. He has lived in different parts of Australia, and the people, places and experiences around him often become part of the ideas behind his stories.
For Mark, writing is about creating a connection between the reader and the story—taking them somewhere new and giving them characters they care about.
